Gian Carlo Menotti's opera Amahl and the Night Visitors tells the heart-warming story of a crippled shepherd boy, his destitute mother, and his encounter with the three star-guided kings. A timeless and inspiring tale of how faith, charity, unselfish love and good deeds can work miracles.
Capture the true meaning of the holidays in this one-hour spectacle featuring glorious music, colorful costumes, amusing characters, and beautiful singing and dancing.
Sung in English, Amahl and the Night Visitors appeals equally to both young and old, to opera aficionados and to first-time opera-goers. It is one of those rare theatrical masterpieces that engage adults as fully as children. Bring the whole family!
